When i started learning how to model subD objects i thought that it would be a good idea to practice is to model building blocks for kids. They have some simple shapes where you can learn how to lay down edges to achieve the proper curvature. It was a great practice. It took me however about 4 months to finish texturing, i was just being lazy. Now you can actually build castles from these blocks in your 3d application. The model is published on turbosquid (it costs 5$).
